High-Energy Ceramic Resistors is composed of high-energy composite ceramic resistor elements, featuring low inductance of only a few microhenries. It is compact and lightweight, capable of absorbing high current in a short period.
It has been successfully used in power capacitor compensation circuits, high-voltage resistive-capacitive absorbers, variable frequency braking resistors, high-voltage soft-start thyristor soft-start resistors, wind power inverter circuits, and high-voltage center-grounding resistors, among others. The energy absorption capability can reach up to 500 J/cm³.
